Usage Tiers & Automatic Upgrades
Your rate limit tier is automatically upgraded based on your cumulative spending (USD). The system checks and upgrades your tier in real time after each billing settlement — no manual application required.

Upgrading from L0 to L1 is treated as a special case and is triggered by a deposit rather than by cumulative spending: simply make a deposit of any amount greater than $0 and you are immediately upgraded to L1. All higher tiers (L2 and above) are reached through cumulative spending, as shown in the table above.

Model-Specific Limits
Each model has different RPM (requests per minute), TPM (tokens per minute), and other rate limits at each tier. Please visit each model’s detail page for detailed rate limit information.

Q: Is the upgrade automatic? Yes. Once your cumulative spending reaches the threshold for the next tier, the system upgrades you automatically — no action needed.
Q: What does "cumulative spending" mean? It is the total amount actually deducted from your balance for API usage — that is, the real cost of the API calls you make. It is not the amount you deposit into your account. (The only exception is the L0 → L1 upgrade, which is triggered by your first deposit rather than by spending.)
